Casual Backyard Summer Wedding

We can tell Elizabeth and James had a blast at their backyard wedding! The couple was married in a ceremony and reception at the groom’s family’s Maryland home. Elizabeth wore a simple ivory gown with a beaded belt and an adorable bow detail on the back. She chose to accessorize with classic pearl jewelry. The bridesmaids wore different style navy dresses. The ladies sipped champagne in matching button down monogrammed shirts while getting ready for the big day. James wore a navy suit with a couple of soft pink accents (like his flamingo lapel pin!) to match Elizabeth’s bright pink floral bouquet. In the backyard ceremony the aisle was lined with pots of baby’s breath while baby’s breath pomanders hung from the tall trees. The centerpieces featured dusty blue hydrangeas in gold vases set on wood slices. Elizabeth customized our Blush Hydrangea wedding invitation to perfectly match these centerpieces! Other great details to see in this casual backyard summer wedding are: giant Jenga, a polaroid guest book, a whiskey barrel table and doughnuts (there’s always room for wedding doughnuts!).
