Lindsay and Jack’s colorful wedding took place at the beautiful Guilford Yacht Club in Guilford, Connecticut. It was an unseasonably warm and sunny spring afternoon with temperatures in the 80s! Lindsay had emailed me about a year ago to inquire about us photographing their wedding, and I could instantly tell we were going to get along. The two of us had a wonderful conversation during our FaceTime chat as she told me all about what she and Jack were planning for their day. Read More

Hi all, Kiersten here! As the Director of Cinema for AGP, and someone who has been in the wedding business for over a decade, nothing was stranger to me than being a bride myself. I’m here to tell you all the ups and downs (or so I thought) of my Water Works by Cescaphe wedding day, and how in the end, my pictures turned out STUNNING! As I mentioned, I’ve been in the wedding business and friends with Ashley and the team for the past decade. What I left out, is that between my Stepdad and my Mom, the three of us have a combined fifty years of experience in the wedding industry (that’s like – way too much if you ask me!). Combined, we have seen all the “trends”, and had many different “visions” in our mind of what my day would eventually look like. Let me tell you – nothing could have prepared me for what actually happened, and that friends, is what makes your big day SPECIAL! Read More

Wedding invitations are the first impression people have of your big day, so picking the perfect suite is important. While invitations traditionally come in an envelope, sending them in a wedding invitation box is a quickly growing trend that will surprise and delight your guests.
What is a wedding invitation box?
Looking for a show-stopping way to deliver your invitations? Say hello to wedding invitation boxes. Instead of envelopes, you package your wedding party invitation in a small gift box that is delivered to guests. From elegant and classic styles to unique and creative ones, there's a boxed wedding invitation for every couple. Although they're more expensive than envelopes due to extra embellishments, boxes may be the right choice for you if you spent a lot of time designing or assembling your invites—or if stationery is something you're splurging on. Discover all the modern city winery wedding inspiration you’ll ever need. Teresa & Yusef married at Brooklyn Winery in New York City. We love the choice of our Ivory & Blush wedding invitations. In addition, the couple carried the theme through their wedding day with matching favor tags and table numbers. How romantic is the bride’s floral wedding gown? I think it had the most beautiful train. In other words, an understated elegance that works so well for a modern city wedding. In addition, her blush Jimmy Choo heels finished the look. The florals were a mix of romantic blush, peach and ivory roses and ranunculus. Similarly, lush greenery was draped around the winery to give an extra boho vibe. The Brooklyn Winery is naturally elegant and chic. However, combined with the couple’s vintage charming style it was the perfect mix of pretty & industrial. Reception decor featured handwritten chalkboard signs and table numbers. In addition, centerpieces incorporated gold metallic vases and geometric accents. Read More

The theme of this styled wedding shoot was lavender – we had the sweetest little lavender accents all throughout the details and flowers. One of the details that I loved best was the lavender seed packets that were being used as name cards. It was the best little addition, don’t ya think?
Lindsey and Kevin were the models for the styled shoot, and let me just tell you. They were so sweet, so patient and so kind. Their love that they share is completely undeniable, you just can’t help but smile when you see the images of the two of them. I mean really – I bet you didn’t get through this entire blog post without smiling! They are simply the best!

Glamour and Lace Events had a vision for a bright and airy shoot overlooking the shore of Chicago at The Loft on Lake. The team says, “The inspiration for this shoot was the 2019 Pantone Color of the Year, Living Coral, but we wanted it to still be timeless and elegant, and in the midst of the Chicago winter a little bit of longing for spring came through as well.” Using Pantone’s Color of the Year as a jumping point, the team created an ethereal shoot filled with soft, feminine details and inspiring design. They add, “The modern and slightly industrial interior were key in balancing the sweetness of the colors and styling.” Details like the coral-colored florals were key to the sweet color palette of the shoot. "The bridal inspiration was sweet romance, with effortless waves in her hair and a fresh dewy complexion. The look was youthful and modern,” says the team. The shape-hugging mermaid gown paired with the sweet updo create an ultra-modern look for young brides. Read More

The couple wanted their wedding to be timeless and elegant without feeling dated and chose a palette of whites and golds with a few burgundy hints. Grace’s high-neck, long-sleeved lace wedding gown was a wonderful fit for an autumnal wedding without feeling too heavy. Pardon us while we pick up our jaws from the floor…From the moment when we first saw this elegant garden wedding from our customers we were in love! The Natirar Mansion in Gladstone, New Jersey is possibly one of the most stunning places we have ever seen! The gorgeous red brick against the green lush forest is just breathtaking. The ceremony space was perfectly decorated with white flowing linens and woodland inspired florals. The bride wore a stunning fitted lace gown with a long train and straps. Her hair was effortlessly swept back in a low bun with a small crystal headpiece. Her bridesmaids wore all different gowns in colors ranging from rose to deep purple. The groom wore the one and only Michael Kors grey tuxedo with a black shawl lapel, while his groomsmen wore the same color tuxedo in the kotch lapel style. This rich color tuxedo played up the décor of the wedding theme perfectly while also keeping all eyes on the groom with the touch of black on the lapel. Read More

From the overgrown design of the ceremony arch to the crawling ivy anchored with flowers on the cake table, Carte Blanche Design used vibrant coral, peach, cream, and blush blooms to add unbelievable dimension and elegance to the private estate venue. The rest of their decor was understated but elegant, with neutral linens and rose gold accents adding a hint of color without taking away from the inherent beauty of the outdoor landscape. The bride shined in a lovely lace Watters gown and, in keeping with the rest of the floral design, her free-form bouquet of large, vibrant blooms was one of the most stunning we’ve seen! Most people don’t associate subtlety with New Jersey, but the soft-hued backdrop of the Brant Beach Yacht Club in Long Beach Island, New Jersey proves otherwise. The dove gray building is flanked by fawn sand and the serene waters of Little Egg Harbor—an ideal venue to host a simple and elegant wedding. The neutral palate is introduced in the invitation suite, with a subtle homage to the sea seen in the modern seashell adornment and pops of sapphire. The ode to the ocean continues in the tablescape, ceremony programs, and sea glass-crusted wedding cake. Touches of nautical whimsy are coupled with rustic elements in the fun drink station and wooden anchor guest board. The flowers epitomize the refined, yet whimsical feeling, with bouquets of eucalyptus, anemones, berzelia, sahara roses, jasmine and a boutonniere of berzelia and eucalyptus. Larisa and Greg were married at the same venue where they got engaged! In fact, they got engaged on an uncharacteristically cold and snowy day in April at Stone Tower Winery. The snow was coming in sideways because of the crazy wind we were having. I know because I was there that day. I wasn’t there meeting Larisa and Greg, I was photographing another wedding at Stone Tower. It wasn’t until my first meeting with Larisa that we discovered that we had crossed paths once before without even knowing it. The more we talked, the more I loved Larisa’s vision for her day and couldn’t wait to meet her sweet family. She and Greg have a son and daughter, Rhys and Fallon, and their feelings around family made me love them even more. They wanted their day to incorporate family, friends and a whole lot of love. It certainly did that and more. It encompassed a whole lot of style too! Everything was absolutely gorgeous!!!
