Wedding Trends for 2016
1.) Hanging lights & florals:
What better way to wow your guests than by creating a unique atmosphere and experience? Hanging lights mixed with organic natural florals is one of our favorite trends we’re seeing!
2.) Food trucks:
If 2016 weddings are all about the guest’s experience, than what better way to provide a stellar time than serving fun food? The more unexpected wedding food, the better.
3.)Single bloom bouquets:
Let’s take a step back and remove the focus off of your guests and remember who is really important. Umm… you (the bride and your lovely bridesmaids). All eyes are on your ladies so this is your time to shine. We love the elegance and simplicity of a single bloom bouquet.
4.) Navy is the new black:
Okay, guys this one if for you. *Trend alert* navy is the new black. Yes! That’s right. Navy is now replacing black and charcoal or tan suits. It’s classic, versatile, clean, modern and can also be casual. What else can we ask for with one color? We love you, navy!
5.) Unique venues:
Say “goodbye” to boring venues and “hello” to a new host of unique spaces. A venue will make or break your overall wedding experience so choose wisely.
6.) Back interest:
What’s cooler than a back necklace? We love the lace detail on the back of this dress, and the simple boho feather necklace is such a great touch! Here’s to hoping this trend carries over to not only bridal, but everyday wear as well.
7.) Naked wedding cakes:
Naked wedding cakes is not the newest trend – but boy, do we love it. Thank goodness naked wedding cakes are here to stay for another year. Adorned with fresh florals or a handmade cake topper, anything looks chic and effortlessly cool with a naked wedding cake.
